At this time in the world people are not thinking or considering spirits except maybe depicted in movies. People have become overly desensitized to this at this day and age due to the fact that real people can be worse than what we can imagine evil spirits to be.
Human history and the books that record it are all filled with descriptions of Gods and Spirits whether they be Greek, Roman, Sumerian, or what-have-you. Spirits have been with us in one way or another through out the centuries.
During these days we are faced with an interesting scenario. Spirits of the old-days are finding a difficult place amongst common thought. Today, God's like Aries or Zeus, are corny at best or a really cool villain in the next superhero movie.
Well let's put forth this theory. What if the spirits of old have somehow slipped into human sub-conciousness? What if the systems we utilize for everyday work are the very Spirits of old?
Ok... Let us take this bit by bit. Firstly back when agriculture was a huge portion of human conciousness, the Gods were related to rain, sun, fertility, and basic things that related.
Considering that we are now in this technologically advanced culture, what place does a fertility God have in our conciousness? None.
Think back to when Jesus was approached by Satan during his fast. Satan had the ability to offer influence in this world. Jesus didn't accept it. But my question is, who did?
In my book on this site, I make it plain that we shifted from people ruled by rulers to people ruled by systems. Systems that work to keep us in place and that we actually fight against most times.
The reason I think Systems are Spirits is because I know that satan's influence is structured within this world. He doesn't have the use of Holy Spirit. He is dependent on drawing us out via our desires. Systems are reflective of those desires in many different respects.
Let us point out one of the biggest spirits in this world. That is the economy. It is not a wild spirit, it bides its time but enjoys distracting humans and revels in its ability to change our activities on a whim. Another system is this political system. The American political system teaches other nations how it's done and you start to see its influence elsewhere. The military system, health system, food system, etc.
This is not to say that we need to destroy these systems because we would be in big trouble if this were to happen without full knowledge of the consequences; but there is something we really need to understand.
Systems are born out of the process of arranging humans into an hierarchy; which is a 4th dimensional concept. We utilize it but do not know its full power. Allowing this structure welcomes influence dimensionally by beings that know the 4th dimension way better than we do. These are the "spirits" I speak of. The systems have only become more of an influence in these days and times and rarely do humans do anything without consulting their "system" first.
So what do we do?
The first step is to recognize just where you stand and realize that you may be fighting against a structure of a system that is built to spin our wheels. If you notice, a lot of arguments are won by discussing elements of the system and not the system itself. This is why the system survives or makes very little changes. It has to remain hidden.
The Spirit knows that the more it can appear like a random human decision, the less likely someone will put two and two together to say there is super-natural force. Until then...
