Black Panther and School Shootings

It is interesting to me that the voices heard the loudest throughout history are of those of the victor. We can also say, those who won the “gun” fight. Since the 1400s, Gun’s creation, brown folks have often been at the end of that gun and not as the victors.
That is why I find this period of time so interesting. We have experienced a troubling school shooting as a nation and a block buster movie that are seemingly not related.
Well they are related in one way. The school shooting and the ensuing response is showing where our country sits in relation to our weapons and the fact that those with the guns are attempting to control our trajectory through the legal foundations of this country. In juxtaposition of this, the blockbuster movie has on full display the beautiful creativity of a people usually considered to be Gun’s victims. The capitalization is intentional because there are those that treat their guns as God & Protector.
The Black Panther film is on world-wide display and is a well made movie showing albeit imagined greatness but displays the storyline of what if this Gungod was useless and impotent in Wakandan history... black history. In other words, what if brown folks were bullet-proof, how would history had changed?
Consider this, as beautiful as this movie is and well written and imagined... the gun-laws and NRA backed lobbying is also unfortunately well imagined and written. I find their spokes-people to be fanatics and their followers fear-mungerin illiterates. This Gungod is dangerous and the NRA is the church given supposed power by a self-serving faulty interpretation of the 2nd amendment.
