3. THE CONQUEROR PERIOD

            The conqueror period includes the establishment of the United Kingdom and all its domains. It will give us insight on how the first steps toward the last days are fulfilled. We will be able to take heed to Jesus words for comfort and get immersed in scripture. The main body of scripture I refer to is Daniel chapters 7 and 11, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and Revelation. These all relate to the final days as you will see. What we will find is that each prophecy relates to the same period but looking at it from different vantage points.

As discussed earlier, many scholars attribute the metal elements of the immense image to Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome which then becomes the 10 kingdoms and the end of this system. When discussing the 4 beasts the same scholars just move the 4 kingdoms on top of the beasts because 1) its 4 beasts and 4 kingdoms and 2) Greece happened to be split into 4 parts which seems to match the third beast. I don’t agree with that logic because 1) its not a good enough reason and 2) no names are given to Daniel as to the identity of the beasts. This is done just 2 years later when Daniel has the dream about the ram and the goat in Daniel Chapter 8. Where possible, he is told of what kingdoms the particular things represent in his visions. Why different now?

It is because the beasts were much further into the future and somewhat detached from the time period that Daniel was living in. I also believe that the beasts are a very close-up look at the brick feet of the statue. The beasts are also related to the prophecy of the kings of the north and south in Daniel Chapter 11. Compare Isaiah 30:6-7 (Taken from the New World Translation)."The pronouncement against the beasts of the south: Through the land of distress and hard conditions, of the lion and the leopard growling, of the viper and the flying fiery snake, on the shoulders of full grown asses they carry their resources, and on the humps of camels their supplies. In behalf of the people they will prove of no benefit. And Egyptians are mere vanity, and they will help simply for nothing. Therefore I have called this one: Ra'hab-they are for sitting still." Notice how the beasts noted for being in the South are a lion and a leopard. Of course a bear will be a northern climate animal. You can now merge the Daniel chapters 7 and 11 together. Chapter 11 gives you more insight on the beasts of chapter 7. I will also show you how it works with the Gospels and Revelation too. Take note for a moment of Isaiah 30:7. Ra’hab was a noted prostitute. God is calling the Egyptians, Ra’hab. I will flush this out in my Chapter on Babylon the Great. Alright let’s look at the Conqueror Period through the eyes of the scriptures.

Daniel 7:4. "The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a man, and the heart of a man was given to it.
Daniel 11:7-14: 7 "One from her family line will arise to take her place. He will attack the forces of the king of the North and enter his fortress; he will fight against them and be victorious. 8 He will also seize their gods, their metal images and their valuable articles of silver and gold and carry them off to Egypt. For some years he will leave the king of the North alone. 9 Then the king of the North will invade the realm of the king of the South but will retreat to his own country. 10 His sons will prepare for war and assemble a great army, which will sweep on like an irresistible flood and carry the battle as far as his fortress. 11 "Then the king of the South will march out in a rage and fight against the king of the North, who will raise a large army, but it will be defeated. 12 When the army is carried off, the king of the South will be filled with pride and will slaughter many thousands, yet he will not remain triumphant. 13 For the king of the North will muster another army, larger than the first; and after several years, he will advance with a huge army fully equipped. 14 "In those times many will rise against the king of the South. The violent men among your own people will rebel in fulfillment of the vision, but without success.
Matthew 24:6. "You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn't come yet,"
Mark 13:4. "When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come."
Luke 21:9. "When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."
Revelation 6:2. "Then I looked, and there was a white horse! Its rider had a bow, and a victor's crown had been given to him. He went out as a conqueror to conquer."

Rome began to decline because in reality it had to make room for its eastern influences. This could not be more obvious than when you look at Western and Eastern Orthodox churches. This division started in Greece and only became more promininent during the days of the Ottoman empire but let us digress for a moment.

Many readers will have a different perspective at this point due to being either Westernly influenced or with Easternly influenced. We can have often two different opposing viewpoints on a matter. This is no different prophetically.

 What we will attempt to do here is try to historically establish that the winged lion and what happens to it correlates to the development of this relationship of Western to Eastern, Christian vs Muslim, Capitalism vs Communism, etc. It is a duality that continues to pervade our lives. Keep in mind that this division are as the two legs of the statue from Daniel. Let us also remind that all of these beasts relate ONLY to the clay feet of our statue.

These beasts do not parallel all four metals in our statue. The beasts detail the finale or feet only. This is the KEY to understanding how these prophecies ALL fit together.  This is the KEY that scholars, preachers, and prophets miss or disregard. I feel if you understand this key, you will understand God's timing and thus his plan for your generation and the next to come.

The wings on our lion beast relates to its ability to influence a large part of the world in a specific amount of time. There was a lot to conquer and one of first things this beast conquered was how to rule upon people. Once it was accepted the wings were no longer needed.

On the western side, certain major players began to make their place in the world; Roman Catholic Church, England, & France. They fought amongst themselves to establish hierarchy and influence; along with orthodoxy and economic functions. At the same time the east continued to develop knowledge in science and mathematics along with finding a place for the Islamic influence within their midst.

In their separation we find our kings of the north and south. Remember east is north and west is south. The reason for this is in the days of these prophecies North and south were definite locations and opposing directions. East to West were actually the same thing and never opposed each other but were just a part of the same continuum.

Continuing with this idea of conquering, we move into the period where America comes into the picture. Remember the HEART given to the beast and made to stand on two legs. America is that heart. I would dare to challenge anyone to say that America has not had a rhythmic affect on the world within the last several centuries. Eastern or Western.

Some may argue that America is a western nation. I would say outwardly that it is but the Freemasons that helped establish it were more wordly in influence as determined by some of their more advanced lodges and degrees.

In Dan 11 the King of the South is obviously the Western nations and, early on, they took many of the spoils of Eastern conflicts.  In doing so they inherited a lot of the riches and spoils and discovered a lot of the old ancient religious artifacts as well. The scriptures also mention carrying the riches off to Egypt. Isaiah has referred to Egypt as a harlot or Ra’hab. The taking of goods to this Egypt is note worthy because America had the first western or european settlements.

The invasions of the Northerly King are interesting. According to scripture, the North King attempted to invade but had to return to his land. Then his sons attempt to invade with a large army but got defeated once getting all the way to South Kings fortress. This could be World War I and World War II or it could be coming confrontations between east and west which as of yet has not definitively occurred. Germany is very much a part of the eastern european nations but not truly eastern having strong arabic ties. So this part of the prophecy I have to view as future at the moment. (edited 04/03/15) The North king was defeated in both instances as the scriptures express that South King came out in a rage and with pride slaughtered many thousands but it is short lived. To speculate further we could relate the initial war against terror with the fight against the east or king of the North; but that is pushing the limits. We really have to wait and see how much of this turns out.

Let us move further into the future a bit. It says that after these things the King of the North is mustering up a larger army fully equipped. There will be many to rise against the king of the south. A possible fulfillment is that the remnants this war-on-terror or its allies are building an army; maybe including Russia, China, and Middle East. The King of the South (US europe) has caught a lot of flack because of this war with Iraq and has lost support.

“The violent men among your own people will rebel in fulfillment of the vision, but without success.” The violent ones depicted in this verse may very well be depicting the Jewish occupation of Israel and the vision would be the retaking of Palestine to reestablish a homeland. The scripture indicates that it will not be successful. Israel is also the front facing nation representing the Western ideals in a strongly eastern environment. This has to be tempestuous. 

In short, anything that could be conquered during this period was conquered. There are no additional lands unknown. All peoples are accounted for. Everyone on this planet during this phase of the end is now under some recognized system. The conqueror has accomplished what he was set to do. Take note of the so-called vehicle of this rider. It is a white horse. During these days and times, whiteness is the preferred complexion of the elite. Whiteness is also used to stir up race relations and keep people from discovering who the real culprits are so that the power remains in the hands of the few.  All races are unfortunately pulled into this false game of cat and mouse and the elite determine who is the cat and who is the mouse. 

Jesus gives his people exactly what they need to know about this period. He said you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. This could mean that from our perspective it may sound like a lot is going on but in actuality there is much less. Fear is such a good motivator for those in control. If a person is in a perpetual state of fear due to hearing about wars, they may be willing to do anything to end it which includes giving more and more of their sovereignty over to some despot or king. Jesus then says do not be alarmed. Jesus wants us not to act in fear of these times. He has told us the truth where as our human leaders will make this stuff out of nothing to scare people into doing things they wouldn’t if they were in the right state of mind. Lastly Jesus tells us the end is not yet. This is important because this book flies in the face of other books on the last days by saying the same thing. A few more things must occur before this is all wrapped up. So true believing Christians, the end is not yet. Rest assured the other things coming upon us will not get any easier but some of us will survive to the end.
