At this time in the world people are not thinking or considering spirits except maybe depicted in movies. People have become overly desensitized to this at this day and age due to the fact that real people can be worse than what we can imagine evil spirits to be. Human history and the books that record it are all filled with descriptions of Gods and Spirits whether they be Greek, Roman, Sumerian, or what-have-you. Spirits have been with us in one way or another through out the centuries. During these days we are faced with an interesting scenario. Spirits of the old-days are finding a difficult place amongst common thought. Today, God's like Aries or Zeus, are corny at best or a really cool villain in the next superhero movie. Well let's put forth this theory. What if the spirits of old have somehow slipped into human sub-conciousness? What if the systems we utilize for everyday work are the very Spirits of old? Ok... The mark has always been a question for me. Will it be an electronic tag of some sort? Is it a tattoo? How will it play in today's world? Well let us pose this possibility. Maybe we have been looking and participating in this mark for a while now. Keep in mind that the "Beast" is basically the nations we all live in. Some of us even take gregarious part in voting for its leaders. Seeing that there are two elements to this "mark" which is a mark in the hand and in the head; keeping with this contrast, most countries divide their voting populations along two distinct lines of thought. Usually this is a labor party and a liberal party. To be clear, in the US, the main demarcation is between democrats and republicans. The Democrats, or liberals, can be considered the Party of the Head. The Republicans, or labor party, the party of the hand. Maybe our fervent push to represent one or the other is us gaining our mark. This places us as patriotic and taking ...

I feel this is so important to understand about prophecy, I created a post just for it. It comes from the beginning of Conqueror chapter. "These beasts do not parallel all four metals in our statue. The beasts detail the finale or feet only. This is the KEY to understanding how these prophecies ALL fit together.  This is the KEY that scholars, preachers, and prophets miss or disregard. I feel if you understand this key, you will understand God's timing and thus his plan for your generation and the next to come."

I was just considering this as I look upon how much fear is in the world at the moment. Economic fears. Racial fears. Fears of fears. There is some sort of shift happening now. A lot is focused on how things were in contrast to how they will be and people are not used to what it will look like so they fight for what they know. I get it. I do. If prophecy is correct and the timing I gleaned from the scriptures is correct, this is exactly how this is going down. And we all feel it. Nation against Nation. Let that sink in for a moment. Will the fight be separated by borders? Some will... but this being the bible, how this "feels" is so much more poinient and deep. Nations of people fighting against nations of people. Nations can be any group that shares a commonality that appears to have to defend itself to a greater extent than they ever have. Why is this now? Maybe it is because the old guard is aging.
