Deuteronomy 28 describes the curses of Israel if they were faithless. An opportunist nation took advantage of a God-forsaken people and enslaved them for their own enrichment. As this 400 years winds down, that unlucky people may not be so unlucky anymore. I sense a fear from the inheritors of this ploy to permanently disenfranchise these people. As those true Israelites realize that their 400 years of bad luck no longer follows them, they will get stronger day by day. It’s good to see.
