 I don’t know when I wrote this but it’s good. “When they say make America great again it is not in the sense it of going back to some past time of greatness. It is more in the sense of re-making America; burning what exists now to the ground to build up fresh into a Western Eurotopia based on objective Randian self determinism. The underpinnings of which are not cooperative to any other ideas but their own. This is missed by people on both sides of isle, liberal and conservative, because cooperation and reaching across the isle is the only way to insert themselves into the political spectrum. Once inserted, they play on fears to strengthen their base and separate creating and “us and them” dialogue and eventually an attitude. Dems are unfortunately on defense because they are drawn as the foil here and are characteristically social justice advocates.
